President Girma sends message of condolence to Yemeni counterpart |

Addis Ababa, July 3, 2009 (Addis Ababa) - President Girma Woldegiorgis sent message of condolence to Yemeni President, Ali Abdullah Saleh in connection with the loss of lives and destruction of property due to Yemeni Airbus 310 passenger plane crash. In his message sent on behalf of the government and peoples of Ethiopia, president Girma expressed heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the victims and the government of Yemen. It is to be recalled that the Yemeni Airbus 310 passenger plane traveling from the country’s capital, Sanaa, to the Comoros Islands in the Indian Ocean, crashed early last Tuesday as it approached the islands, killing most of the 153 people on board. ---END--- |
