Ethiopian graduates 48 Cabin crew
Addis Ababa, July 3, 2009 (Addis Ababa) -

The Ethiopian airlines graduated on Friday 48 cabin crew.

Speaking at the occasion cabin crew training Manager with Ethiopian Yilikal Mengesha said the airline is standing out in the current global downturn because of the capability of its staff.

Unlike other airlines across the world affected by the current economic downturn, Ethiopian is profiting, competiting and is hiring capable staff, he said.

The graduates have taken basic classroom training, participated in safety drills and gone through rigorous on the job training qualify them as cabin crew to serve open on all the fleet type operated by the Ethiopian airlines, he said.

Ethiopian Chief Executive Officer Girma Waqe handed over diplomas and wings to the 106th and 107th batch Cabin Crew trainees.

Girma said the trainees are responsible to ensure safety and reliable service of the Ethiopian in the aviation industry.

He said the cabin crew training program highlights the airlines’ continue commitment to delivering quality service with a strong emphasis’s on Safety.

“As we discharge our carries we know that we are responsible to promote the rich culture and the peoples of Ethiopia wherever we destined” graduates’ representative said.
