Addis Ababa, December 22, 2009 (Addis Ababa) - Arba Minch University, one of the state-owned higher learning institutions, said it has launched 42 problem-solving research projects in different fields of study at a cost of 3.8 million Birr.
Most of the research projects were being conducted in agriculture, health, and education sectors, research and publications coordinating office representative of the university, Kinfe Kassa told ENA.
Meanwhile, he said, one of the research projects of the university, which is known as “The Rosa Project”, has enabled the local people to change fluid waste substances, including human excretion, into odorless organic fertilizer.
