The late Fitawrari Amede served his beloved country to the last of his breath with his active contributions to social works of national significance. He was member with the national committee for the return of the Axum obelisk.

The funeral of the late Fitawrari Amede would be conducted at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the cemetery for muslims. Senior government officials and parliamentarians will attend the funeral to honor his life time contributions, the Ethiopian Islamic Affairs Supreme Council told ENA.

The late Fitawrari Amede is survived by 10 children, 34 grand children and six great grand children.
