Members, supporters of SPDP vow to back development activities
Addis Ababa, July 22, 2007 (Addis Ababa) - Members and supporters of Somali People Democratic Party (SPDP) said they would contribute their share in the efforts geared toward strengthening the ongoing development activities in the state.

During a fundraising program held here on Sunday in support of the party, members and supporters vowed to rally behind SPDP in its efforts toward expanding infrastructure and health service facilities in the region, among others.

The members and supporters have contributed nearly 250,000 Birr during the fund-raising program. They said that the party should attach due attention in enabling the youth participate in the efforts toward strengthening the party.

Executive committee member of the party, Ambassador Mohammed Drere called on the supporters and members to further enhance efforts toward strengthening the party.

Ministers, members and supporters of the party, and natives of Somali regional state, and other guests attended the fund-raising program.
